QIC Leadership

Dr. Jennifer Solberg
Founder & CEO
​Jennifer Solberg, Ph.D. is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of QIC. She is passionate about using her expertise in research psychology to improve performance, especially for those who serve our country. Her research focuses on creative applications of data analysis for predicting and assessing human performance, training and measurement development, and evaluating the effectiveness of training technology. She has nearly 20 years of research experience, with a focus on the use of emerging technologies for training and assessment. She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Cognitive and Experimental Psychology from the University of Georgia.  Her research has been featured in the New York Times, Signal Magazine, Soldier Magazine, and the Pentagon Channel. Jennifer is an active member of the Orlando simulation training community, and is a member of the National Simulation Center and National Defense Industrial Association. She supports I/ITSEC on the Emerging Concepts and Innovative Technologies subcommittee.
Frank Hannigan 
COO
​​Frank Hannigan is the Chief Operating Officer of QIC.  He has 15 years of experience applying human factors and systems engineering principles and methods to the design of expert system displays and training curricula.  He also has a wealth of business expertise having successfully managed projects at large corporations, small businesses, and national laboratories.  Frank holds a M.S. in Human Factors & Systems from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and B.S. in Aviation Science from Saint Louis University.  Frank has led projects  for high-profile programs including the Navy's Zumwalt Class Destroyer (DDG-1000), the FAA's Next Gen Air Traffic Control System, the DOE's Electric Grid Modernization efforts, as well as special assignments for Executive Leadership at Sandia National Laboratories.  Frank's research interests are rooted in human performance with respect to automation increases and technology enhancements, whether on the battlefield, in the cockpit, or in the classroom.
